8 or 15 Day Itineraries
To experience the mystical isolation that shaped the life of the Galapagos, this sturdy, stately, comfortable motor-vessel is an excellent choice. The SAMBA is a true European Dutch classic and the best in her class. The Samba was built with teak decks in 1966 as a luxury private yacht, and is now a perfectly converted cruise boat specialized for the Galapagos Islands. A great ocean-going vessel with her specially designed high bow, she provides safe crossings and boasts a special stabilizing sail.
Her main salon and aft dining facilities make her socially versatile while top-side settees and a flush and ample forward deck provide great getaways or extra space for group activities such as stargazing, whale watching or simply sunbathing.
The SAMBA accommodates 14 guests, a perfect number to enjoy the magic of the Islands with privacy and flexibility. Its professional, experienced and friendly crew and naturalist guide are devoted to go the extra mile to make your journey a trip of a life time.
She is a graceful, top-quality craft and very environmentally friendly as well as socially responsible. She is locally owned and all the crew members are from the Galapagos. We are committed to redefining your idea of quality of experience and excellence of service.
The Samba sails during 15 days around the archipelago in two segments of 8 days each, starting/ending on Tuesday. One around north and western islands, and the other around south and eastern islands. You may take the full 15-day cruise or one of the 8-day segments.
